The Livewire Classic 2 uses alnico 2 rod magnets, and a specially designed coil & preamp to deliver vintage Stratocaster output and tone. The treble is dialed for high end brilliance, the mids are punchy, and the low end is ultra-tight. This often overlooked pickup is a great alternative for hum-canceling vintage-voiced Strat tone. Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, the Livewire 2 Classic comes with everything you need for installation, including 25k pots, battery clip, stereo output jack, tone capacitor, and extra wire. These are all epoxy potted and use a standard 9-Volt battery.
