Equipped with renowned ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology and a new front panel design, the 8pre-es connects to a Mac, PC or iOS device over Thunderbolt™ or USB with low latency, high performance drivers to deliver 52 channels of audio I/O, 48-channel mixing and DSP effects, including Classic Reverb, modeled analog EQ and vintage compression modeled after the legendary LA-2A™. Eight mic/line “combo” inputs provide transparent preamps with superb 129 dBu EIN, 118 dB dynamic range and remote control for individual gain/pad/48V phantom power. Control room features include a built-in talkback mic with front-panel "talk" button and"A/B" speaker select buttons. Advanced extras include flexible routing and splitting, system expansion, audio networking, stand-alone mixing, Wi-Fi control from mobile devices, DC coupled analog outputs and AudioDesk workstation software.
