ILIO Vienna Symphonic Library Special Edition PLUS

The Vienna Instruments - Special Edition PLUS from Vienna Symphonic Library is a collection of samples that offer new articulations for all string, brass and woodwind instruments included in the Vienna Special Edition Standard and Extended Libraries. It is the ideal expansion to the Special Editions, allowing all users of these libraries to quickly and conveniently add articulations they might have been missing until now.

 

As an example, the Plus collection supplements the Solo Violin's articulations with short détaché, fortepiano, snap-pizzicato, col legno, trills 1 and 2, repetition performances (legato and spiccato), fast repetitions (150, 170, 190 BPM), harmonics (staccato and sustain), and ponticello (staccato, sustain, tremolo).

 

The library contains 31GB of 24-bit/44.1kHz uncompressed samples. Using an optimization process, the Vienna Instruments engine decompresses the samples in real-time, so that they take up only 21GB of space on the user's hard disk.
