There are three changes to the Avocet (the new changes are in place on units manufacturered since Fall 2006). First Output #3 can work in parallel with outputs 1 or 2. This is for those who need only 2 outputs and have the desire to turn a sub woofer on or off, the OUT 3 button can be programmed to allow this type of operation. Next, the remote talk input is now non latching. The talk button on the remote will latch if pushed for less than 0.5 seconds, If it is held for more than 0.5 seconds it will be non latching. The remote input and the button on the remote can over ride each other. Lastly, a digital meter output has been added.

LAVRY DA10
Lavry Engineering introduces DA10, a new stand alone stereo digital to analog converter. The half rack unit can receive AES or SPDIF digital audio on XLR, RCA and optical link. The DA provides three Clock modes. The preferred modes are Crystal Mode and Narrow Lock Mode, but the unit also offers a Wide Lock Mode based on an internal Sample rate conversion for listening at non standard sampling rates. The level of the analog outputs (balanced or unbalanced) is controlled by an up–down switch and a 2 digit display. The “potentiometer free” discrete analog attenuator provides up to 56dB very high precision volume control in 1 dB steps. A state of the art discrete headphone driver is capable of accommodating at ease even the lowest impedance headphones. ROLL RMS216 FOLCROM
The RMS216 FOLCROM is a high quality passive mixer intended for analog summing of multichannel digital mixes. The sound is up to you and your preamps. Each of the Folcrom's sixteen input channels features a balanced analog connection on standard 8-channel DB25 connectors and a pair of pushbutton switches to assign that channel to the Left or Right output, neither, or both. It uses no active circuitry and provides no gain or level controls. By controlling all aspects of the mix from within the DAW, automation and recallability are perfectly preserved. Up to 16 different tracks or submixes can then be routed to the Folcrom for summing in the analog domain.
